个人简介

男,1962年出生,博士,教授。1984年获罗萨里奥大学医学学士学位,1987年获巴黎第七大学生物化学硕士学位,1991年获剑桥大学遗传学博士学位。1992-1994年在斯坦福大学医学院从事博士后研究,1994-1998年任哥伦比亚麦德林大学医学院生物化学系助理教授,1998-2000年任英国伦敦帝国理工学院医学院讲师,2000-2006年任英国伦敦大学学院生物学系(高尔顿实验室)讲师、高级讲师,2006-2017年任英国伦敦大学学院遗传进化环境学系教授、名誉教授,20172月起任小红帽回家地址2023特聘教授。


研究方向

疾病和非疾病表型的基因分析和群体遗传学研究。自2012年以来,一直从事人类表型特征的基因分析研究。通过拉丁美洲的混合人群样本研究美洲原住民、非洲人和欧洲人的表型特征的区别,并利用遗传数据来推断欧亚大陆、美洲和非洲次大陆的起源问题。
